All configurations of Communications Earplugs and supporting parts manufactured by Communications & Ear Protection, Inc. (CEP) have been independently tested and air worthiness certified (AWC) for use by U.S. Army Aviation.  This qualification testing has been sponsored by the Project Manager, Air Warrior Office located at Redstone Arsenal, Huntsville, Alabama.  This office also maintains the source specification documents for the communications earplug, as well as any specifications provided under design improvements for the device.
